Proverbs 4:20-23 spells out this key to success in no uncertain terms: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. You see, Gods Word shows you how to live victoriously, even in a dark world. When you walk according to the Word, it shines a light on your pathway. The Apostle Peter talks about that light of the Word. He says to pay close attention to it like you would a lamp shining in a dark place.
