The Only Thing Kenneth Copeland 21 August Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth. Your Word is Truth. John 17:17, The Amplified BibleWith all the glory and power God is pouring out right now, youd think every believer on earth would be happy as a pig in the sunshine. Youd think every one of us would be healed and delivered and shouting Gods praises all day long. Youd think wed all be free of every bondage of the devil. But, quite frankly, many believers are more frustrated today than theyve ever been in their lives. Gods miracle-working power is falling around them like rain…yet no matter where they go, they cant seem to get wet! These baffled believers go from one meeting to the next, hoping God will heal them of some sickness, or free them from some habit or sin that has ensnared them. When they get to the service, they shout and holler and praise God. They run up and down the aisle and have a great time. They fall on the floor under the power of God. Yet, as wonderful as all those things are, by the time they get home, theyre hurting again. So they sadly say, Well, I guess I didnt get anything tonight either. If that has happened to you, I want you to pay close attention. If youve been walking around thinking, I just dont understand it. In times past, anybody could pray for me and Id get healed. But now even the most anointed ministers can pray for me and nothing happens, I want you to know something: God is not neglecting you. He is not ignoring your need. He is telling you its time to grow up. Dont cry over this. Its good news! God is letting you know that youre mature enough in Him that you dont need baby food anymore. You dont need anyone to feed you healing and deliverance. You dont have to run around from one meeting to another trying to get in on a miracle. Youve grown to the point where He expects you to pick up your Bible and get what you need by faith. Youre not alone either. There are many other believers who have reached this same stage of spiritual growth. From now on, if theyre going to walk in freedomfrom sickness, sin, disease, poverty and all the rest of the devils junktheyll have to get it from the Word. Jesus is saying to them, as He has said to me, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Whats more, it is the only thing that will make you free!Proverbs 13-14; Psalm 6I know the truth and it makes me free. John 8:32
